Welcome to the homepage of the SASC 2008 workshop. The goal of the SASC 2008 workshop is to gather researchers working in the area of stream cipher analysis and design.

The workshop will be held just immediately after the FSE 2008 conference, at the same place. Please note that you need to register to the workshop independently from your FSE registration.

SASC 2008 is hosted by ECRYPT, the European Network of Excellence in Cryptography. It is an activity inside the Symmetric Techniques Virtual Lab (STVL) and while there will be a focus on the 16 ciphers in the third round of the eSTREAM project, papers on stream ciphers in general will also be welcome.

The main goal of this workshop is to give participants the opportunity to give talks, present their research and discuss various aspects of the selection of the eSTREAM project.
